About
Emily is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and specializes in therapy for children and adolescents, families, and couples.
Emily has been practicing yoga since 2012 and completed a 200hr yoga teacher training (YTT) in 2021, and additional trainings in kids yoga in 2023 & 2025.
Emily began practicing family therapy in 2021 and became certified in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy in 2025, after years of training at the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Center while working for a non-profit.
Emily teaches yoga, meditation, & mindfulness to preschool - elementary aged children in schools. She has 8 years of experience providing community-based mental healthcare and currently works at a group private practice.
Emily’s current passion is teaching about the mind-body connection and helping individuals and families build skills for healthy coping and communication. She is passionate about accessibility and providing community-based services.
I have watched kids of all abilities, ages, and personalities learn and incorporate skills like deep breathing, mindfulness, and grounding through practicing yoga. The side effects? Finding moments of focus. Building confidence. Learning emotion regulation. This stuff has to be taught before we can expect kids to apply it. Adults can often use support too, and caregivers are always welcomed/encouraged to join yoga sessions.
Hope to meet you and your family soon!
